Activities - Kingsleigh Residential Home

The home provides a qualified Activities Co-ordinator who can assist residents to continue lifelong hobbies and activities or try new ones. Our activities co-ordinator can tailor these activities in groups or on a one to one basis.

Residents are encouraged to maintain lifelong interests, supported by our staff and activities co-ordinator. Each month we have entertainment or an organised event such as petting dogs, guitar player and singers and keyboard players as music is so important to our residents.

Residents go shopping in the town, feed the duck at the nearby pond and/or take a stroll to the beach. To ensure our residents have a say in their daily lives we have residents meetings and to get ideas, opinions and support, the home holds relatives meeting regularly.

We are extremely pleased to recently add that Kingsleigh Home is Award Winning 2012 Winners in Somerset for Our Activities, with Co-Ordinator CAT for our (Creative Activities Therapist) Services.
